The SCROLL
compressor is manufactured by Copeland, the worlds leader in refrigerant
compressors. Unlike conventional heat pump compressors which use a piston
and two check valves to compress refrigerant to make heat, the SCROLL
compressor has two scrolls that rotate around each other to continuously
compress refrigerant WITH NO VALVES, and offers the following.
HIGH HEAT OUTPUT - Because there is no
re-expansion of refrigerant gas during compression, SCROLL Compressors
provide ABOUT 12% MORE HEAT FOR YOUR POOL WHEN YOU NEED IT!
DURABILITY - Using a scroll compressor replaces approximately 15 parts used
in a piston compressor. LESS WEAR PARTS MEANS MORE RELIABILITY.
